Day 86: Email Assessment

  • Final Email Assessment
    • WHEN TOLD TO DO SO... send an email to mhaworth@student.leyden212.org that discusses ONE of the following topics:
      • Design Principles
      • Digital Footprint
      • Personal Brand
    • Email Format
      • short descriptive subject in initial caps
      • formal greeting and closing
      • proper spelling and grammar (punctuation, capitalization, etc...)
      • pleasantry and thank you
      • use bullets and text emphasis where appropriate
  • Prepare for delivering a presentation on Thursday
    • You will Present on one of the following:
      • your Career Research
      • your Digital Footprint
      • your Personal Brand

ON-GOING ASSIGNMENTS:

Personal Brand 
  • add your professional photo to all of your online accounts
  • As time allows, make a copy of this helpful document and start preparing for your future by:
    • Creating your Resume
    • Preparing a general Cover Letter
    • Creating a list of your Network of Contacts:
      • What kind of people do you have your network?
      • The goal is establish quality relationships with others in your industry that you can potentially leverage, and create visibility for yourself.
    Typing Club
    • Complete daily practice in Typing Club using proper technique (remember to focus on how you type, not how well). Work on one lesson for 5 to 10 minutes repeatedly, each day
    EverFi Ignition
    PencilCode.net
    • Download a copy of the PencilCode guide  (with the down arrow) and upload it and move it to your Computer Coding folder.
      • Work on completing each of the assignments beginning on page 9 of the guide
      • move through the guide at your own pace, as time allows
    • Turn in your PencilCode house assignment
