Speaking to an audience, big or small, is a something you will have to do many times in your lifetime.  These days there are many tools you can use to help make a presentation more engaging and fun for your audience.  PowerPoint, Google Presentations, Slide Rocket and Prezi are just a few you will use throughout the semester.  In this unit we will focus on PowerPoint and Google Presentations, but we will explore new tools as well.

    Tasks:
    1. Begin the Person Place or Thing Assignment
    2. Share document with anyone who has the link and submit the URL through the Assignment Submission Form

    Day 16

    Design Principles:

One of the biggest pitfalls of giving a presentation, is using the presentation tool incorrectly.  It's important to keep certain design principles in mind when creating slides that will be projected onto a larger screen.  Following design guidelines will help make your presentation visually appealing to your audience and better communicate your message.

    Tasks:
    1. Go back to your presentation.  Did you follow the Design Principles?  If not, go back and revise your work. Check out these slides for inspiration

    Day 17
