Day 10 - EverFi: Buying a Computer


EverFi Ignition
  • clear your browser history
  • go to everfi.com/login
  • enter your email address and password
    • use you @student.leyden212.org email address
    • use capital First initial / lowercase last initial / # / locker combo as your password
  • click Log In
  • click Continue
    • if necessary, complete the Day 1 and Day 2 activities before doing the following
  • put on your headphones, turn down the volume, and click the Choosing a Computer rectangle
  • click the Buying a Computer balloon
  • after video, take out a notebook to jot down some notes, Click Begin, and follow the on-screen instructions
    • What is a QR code?
    • What is a CPU?
    • What is RAM?
    • What is a Hard Drive?
    • What is the first step in choosing a computer?
    • Describe the primary differences between tablet, laptop, and desktop computers.
    • List the following characteristics of an "average" laptop: cost, processing speed, screen size, and hard drive space.
  • continue through the simulation, taking notes along the way
