VIL Qualifiers:
  • VIL Qualifiers Only (you'll know if you qualified):
    • get permission slips signed and returned ASAP
    • all-school showcase on 4/27/18
    • consider creating a 360 video to upload to YouTube
      • download and launch the Gear 360 App 
        • from Apple AppStore or Google Play
      • turn on 360 camera and record example (prototype)
        • If camera doesn’t connect automatically, click “Connect”
        • Click Camera
        • Click the Record button
      • upload video
        • from Gear 360 App on Android, Press the back arrow (bottom-right)
        • Click on the Gallery
        • Click the most recent video (top-left)
        • Click Save (bottom-left)
        • Click on the home square button (bottom-middle)
        • Open Gallery app on Android phone
        • Click on your video (top-left)
        • Click pencil (bottom left) then,Share
        • save the video
        • Click YouTube
        • make sure you're signed into your account
        • title it, and description, unlisted 
        • upload arrows upper right

      • watch video with phone, tablet, chromebook, and / or VR Goggles
        • use youtubeloop.net to loop your video

  • Purpose: Showcase their physical prototype created for the small business partner.
  1. Tablet:  PLEASE LABEL
  • Purpose: Showcase their Market research (Big Book of technology) and prototype (If students created an app)
  • 5 per school (2 per team)
  1. VR Headsets and 360 phone: PLEASE LABEL
  1. Purpose: Showcase student’s 360 school tour
  2. 5 headsets per school (2 per team)

Who: All VIL Schools + VZ + ASU
Session 3: Pitch Competition (Round 1)
  1. Where: Breakout Rooms
  2. What: Internal School Pitch Competition
  • School’s two winning teams will compete against each other.
  • The winning team will move to the next round.
  • Students have 5 minutes to pitch.
Session 4: Pitch Competitions (Round 2)
  1. Where: Larger Breakout Room
  2. What: VIL Regional School Pitch Competition
  • Each VIL school will compete against each other.
  • Students have 3 minutes to pitch
